What is fallopian tube and what are the conditions that affect them?
These muscular ‘J-shaped’ tubes that run through the female reproductive tract are known as uterine tubes (also known as fallopian tubes, oviducts, or salpinx). Located near the ovaries, they are at the upper border of the broad ligament that runs laterally from the uterus and enters the abdominal cavity at the top of the ligament.
